The Courtesy Visa

Is freely granted for distinguished and important people (VIPs) by the embassies, by the Lebanese delegations abroad or by the General Director of the General Security.


 The Collective Visa

Is granted for delegations, and the fee is receipted from each member of the delegation.


The Work-Employment Visa

Is granted for 3 months and its fee is 50.000 LP. It's based on a premature approval from the Ministry of labor.


    The allowance rate on hireling services

 

The fees, charges on hireling services are receipted on every application presented at the public relations department or incoming to it trough the security chamber according to the following:

   - Normal, regular 70.000 L.L on every individual visa whether presented by a       

      single, individual or a collective request.

            - Instantaneous, Immediate, Direct 105.000 L.L on every visa executed via the

             security chamber.  

The Entrance of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries Citizens and the Jordanian citizens
 
 

The citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries (Saudi Arabia – Kuwait - United Arab of Emirates – Bahrain- Qatar - Oman) in addition to the citizens of  the Jordanian Hashemite Kingdom  state (that are holding  the National Number on their passports) and who are coming for the purpose of tourism as well as their family members, servants and chauffeurs escorting them, are exempted from entrance visas according to the following:

 

Ø  The passports of the citizens of these countries as well as their family members, servants and chauffeurs accompanying them should be imprinted/traced with an entry stamp with the expression “three months” for free, at the airport, frontiers district and posts/offices.

Ø  The name, surname, and nationality of the employer are written on the passports of the servants and chauffeurs.

Ø  The visas validity period can be extended until one year for free at the General Directorate of the General Security - Arabs and Foreigners department- according to the rules accredited for such purposes.

Ø  The escorting servants and chauffeurs should hold a valid permit of residence in the country that the employer is related to.

Ø  Chauffeurs working for an employer are allowed to join their employer present in Lebanon by land, provided that the car is registered to the employer and that the chauffeur holds a valid permit of residence in the employer’s country.

Visa for work/labor
 
 

A three months period visa for work/labor is granted for the citizens of the following countries after acquiring an obligatory prematurely approval from the General Directorate of the General Security pursuant to a prematurely approval from the Ministry of Labor/Employments.

Ethiopia - Eritrea - Indonesia – Angola – Uganda – Pakistan - Bangladesh – Paraguay - Paulaus Island – Benin Rep. – Botswana - Burkina Faso – Burundi – Bosnia –Taiwan Trinidad & Tobacco – The Chad – Tanzania – Togo - Central Africa Rep. - Democratic Republic of the Congo ( former Zaire) – South Africa – Djibouti – Rwanda – Zambia – Zimbabwe - Ivory coast - St. Lucia - Sri Lanka – El Salvador – Suriname - Sierra Leone - Seychelles Island – Somalia – Gabon – Gambia - Ghana  - Grenadines – Guinea – New Guinea – Philippines – Fiji – Vietnam - Cameroon - North Korea – Comers Island - Guinea Rep. – Liberia – Malawi – Mali – Madagascar – Mauritania – Mauritius Islands (Maurice) – Mozambique – Namibia – Niger – Nigeria – Nicaragua – India.

 

No entrance visas are granted for females from Indonesia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone who are coming to work as servants with reference to the decree, resolution of the authority of their countries.

 

Upon receiving requests for work/labor visas belonging to citizens of the Ethiopian state, the concerned individuals are requested to include an approval statement to send for from the Ethiopian Embassy in Lebanon.

 

 

    The Required Documents

                                                                                                                                                 

1- A photocopy the identity card, extract of civil registration or residence of the employer.

2- A photocopy of the foreigner's travel official paper on two copies.

3- A commitment, recognizance signed by the petitioner, applicant at the Notary Public to return the foreign worker to his country on the applicant, petitioner's expense, charge.

     In the case of presenting the request by an institution or a company, legal papers pertaining to it should be joined to the documents (registration certificate in the commercial record, investment).

4- A family extract of civil registration for the employer in the case of a male or female foreign worker.

5- A prematurely approval from the Ministry of Labor/Employment along with a photocopy of it not exceeding the period of three months of issuing.

 

    Notes:

In the case of a request for an entrance visa concerning work of art, the following documents should be presented:

1- A request for an entrance visa.

2- A preliminary work/job contract.

3- A commitment, recognizance from the employer owner of an amusement center/club or a touristic institution.

4- A one million banking bail, guaranty for each one of the artists.

5- The artist's passport.

6- A laboratory exam from outside Lebanon.
